Last week the Sushant Singh and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore released at the box office. Well, the story of the film is about college life and how it changes with time. The film is divided into two parts: the first part where the film takes you to the 90’s era where you can easily correlate your college life and the second part focuses on the life after college. And everyone gets busy with their lives and making money. Amidst all this, people forget how to live, enjoy life and friendship.
Chhichhore is a great attempt to bring back the nostalgia and in a good way. The films have seven characters who study in engineering college. They united together to form a sports team and named it Loser. The seven key characters of the film are essayed by Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Varun Sharma, Tushar Pandey, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Naveen Polishetty.
It was released on September 6th, 2019 and the film had a slow start. It earned mixed reviews, but in a period of a week, Chhichhore had gained momentum, and it has started to earn more at the box office. At the time of release, the collections were Rs 7.32 crore, but over the weekend, the amount had increased to Rs 16.41 crore. The film has crossed Rs. 50 crore and is still continuing to do good at the box office.
The film is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari who is an IIT Mumbai graduate. It’s important to mention here that Nitesh Tiwari has managed to bring back the 90’s college life back on-screen and if you still haven’t watched this film, its time to hit the cinema hall and relish all your college life memories back.
