Student of the Year Trailer Review: Is it worth a watch or just an old concoction in a new bottle?

The trailer of Student of the Year 2 gives you the assurance that the story is full packed with high school drama, high-strung fights, confusing love triangles, and lots of coordinated dancing and a vigorous dose of an expression. The movie is the sequel of the first, and it also screams about luxury, showiness, charm and lots and lots of blood (which wasn’t there in Student of the Year).

Tiger Shroff is seen in his common avatar sporting leather jacket and the showy his buff abs which every time he slings his t-shirt. Now we have ladies in the movie; Tara Sutaria which seems to be getting more screen time than Ananya Panday. Tara Sutaria is playing the role of a girl who has the dream of achieving and winning St. Teresa’s Dance competition, and there is Shreya (Ananya Panday) who washes her hopes. We have Shreya who is shown in the family as rich; drives in her own Lamborghini to school and Tiger Shroff comes to school by cycle.

It was one of the uppermost grossing films of its year, and its actors have had more than enough time to come into their own.

Student of The Year 2 marks the debut of two new actresses, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria. Both these actresses look good in their part, but in the trailer, it appears as if Tiger Shroff is stealing the limelight. The film is glamorous and an extravagant display of magnum opus just like Karan Johar’s other films. However, at some point, it appears that the same old formula of a high-profile school versus an average school student drama is presented in the 21st century. Well, it is too early to predict about the film, for now, we leave you with the trailer of the film.
