The biopic fever still seems to be ruling the box office. 2018 was all about content-rich films and biopics, guess the trend is going to continue in the new year as well. It will begin with Uri: The Surgical Strike which is based on the real surgical strike that took place in Kashmir. Well, another film that is creating a buzz is “ The Accidental PM” in which we see Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh. There are enough controversy surrounding the content and characters of the film.

On the other hand, we have Omung Kumar announcing the biopic on Narendra Modi. Yes, you read it right. Our very own Prime Minister might soon have his biopic hitting the silver screen. And do you know who is going to essay the role of our very own current Prime Minister, its Vivek Oberoi?

The makers of the film released the poster of Narendra Modi yesterday which shows Vivek Oberoi as Prime Minister. There was news that Paresh Rawal might be essaying the role of Narendra Modi, but the poster came as a surprise for all of us.  There are not many details about the film. But, the poster has got some criticism as we don’t find much resemblance to Narendra Modi’s look. We still have to wait and see how Vivek Oberoi performs as prime minister.

Whereas, “ The Accidental Prime Minister” will be releasing on 11th January 2019 along with Uri: The Surgical Strike. The biopic on Narendra Modi is still in the filming stage. Amidst all this, we have a video of Paresh Rawal doing rounds on the internet where we see the veteran actor claiming that nobody could do the role better than him.
