Star Cast: Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Ameesha Patel, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade
Director: Neerraj Pathak
Movie Review: After the disappointing performance of Thugs of Hindostan, this week there was no big release Bollywood. The only film that was served for the audience was Sunny Deol starrer Bhaiyaji Superhit. The film has an ensemble of powerful casts like Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Shreyas Talpade, Preity Zinta and Ameesha Patel, but unfortunately, the film is not able to hold the audience.
Basically, it’s the 90’s formula served in the 21st century. The film is about Sunny Deol who cannot say a word in front of his wife but becomes domineering in front of others. Well it’s the same old story, the wife leaves the man and he tries to win her back. Sunny Deol had nothing new to show. After Mohalla Assi, this was even more disappointing. Preity Zinta who plays the on-screen wife of Sunny Deol in the film is a surprise package. She is seen in a different role and does it really well.
As far as the comedy is concerned, the film gives you some light moment to laugh and relax. Moreover, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade are wonderful in their role. Their comic timings and funny conversation are a relief from the main storyline. You would also love to see Pankaj Tripathi in the film. Overall it’s an okay film. The songs of the film are not that great and not so foot-tapping. If you are a stalwart of a content-driven film then Bhaiyaji Superhit is not the film for you, but if you are ready to laugh and smile without using your brains and are a fan of Preity Zinta then you can give this film a shot.
