MeToo movement has picked up the pace in the nation. Many of the big names that surfaced after the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar’s controversy have apologized for their deeds. The aftermath of this controversy could be seen in the film industry, whereas the female directors have come together to sign a pact about non-working with the people who are guilty of sexual harassment, there are many actors, singers and directors who have stepped down after the sexual harassment allegations. The latest addition to this list is Nana Patekar. The veteran actor was a part of Housefull 4, but after being accused of sexual harassment by Tanushree Dutta, he has stepped down from his role in the film.
As per reports, the Bahubali famed actor Rana Daggubati will be replacing Nana in Housefull4. Rana told Mumbai Mirror that this genre of film is new for him and so it would be a great learning experience. At the same time, he is happy to find work outside Hyderabad. Rana Daggubati has worked in some Bollywood films like Baby starring Akshay Kumar and Bahubali. He is extremely excited and is looking forward to work in the film.
Rana Daggubati will be seen portraying the role of a Sufi music director. The film also has casts like Ritesh Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kirti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde and now the cast will be joined by Rana Daggubati.
Sajid Khan has taken a step back after being accused of sexual harassment. He was earlier directing the film but after the sexual harassment charges, he decided to step down. The film is slated to release in October next year. Meanwhile, we are expecting, Housefull 4 to entertain us in the same way as its earlier franchise.
