Friday is about to come, and Bollywood is bringing us two content-driven films, Karwaan and Fanney Khan. Whereas Fanney Khan is a movie based on body shaming and how people have to suffer because of it, they don’t get the work and have to face their own set of struggles, on the other hand, Karwaan emphasizes on the rediscovery of relations.
A strong star cast backs both these films. Whereas Fanney Khan is studded with casts like Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, and Rajkumar Rao, Karwaan is Akarsh Khurana’s Karwaan Bollywood debut of Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan along with Irrfan Khan. Karwaan doesn’t have big names but has managed to garner the attention of the viewers. The movie buffs have found the content of the film interesting and refreshing. Moreover, Irfan Khan’s presence adds to the intensity of the film. The concept of silence-of-life travel film defines the theme of the film. Another reason for Karwaan to get such high attention is Dulquer Salmaan, who has a huge female fan following.
