Gone is the days when people used to stick to television to watch series; this is the Netflix era where you watch your favorite shows on the go. It has gained popularity in India as well, and now we have India’s first Netflix series, Sacred Games coming up.

The trailer looks glossy, gloomy and impressive; the story of the series is an inspiration from Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel which showcases various moods of Mumbai.

We have already seen many mafias and underworld films unfold in cinemas, but, this is expected to be different. The series will have veteran actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will be seen as Ganesh Gaitonde and Saif Ali Khan as cop Sartaj Singh.

The trailer is catchy and hypnotic. It also has Radhika Apte who will be seen blazing guns. We are expecting that the directors Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane will show us something different and we will see the new treatment of the mafia and underworld.

For now, you have to wait until 6th July 2018 to see the drama unfold on Netflix.
